Psychic assistance to scientific study

Does anyone know information regarding psychics influence in the scientific field?

 

I remember reading that psychics actually perceived the dna structure, or maybe a different structure that is very small. and this helped our current scientific paradigm. Having trouble finding information..

I seem to remember a story that someone of the theosophic society ( leadbeater??)  'saw' the structure of molecules..or atoms...before this structure was scientifically made clear
