Infolad1 Posted July 22, 2015 Yeah but there are no shortcuts unless you were gifted before you were born. Even then, it means that you can progress further or to experience a higher stage cultivation without investing the time needed to develop your foundation. Still, it means that you can experience these stages much faster. It does not mean you would SKIP some steps. I wasn't discussing shortcuts. I was talking about direct experience, versus intellectual fantasizing, and hearsay. People need to be clear about which one they're doing, at all times. Everyone who experiences these transformations, are of different cultures, and backgrounds. The general transformation sequence is the same. But the details are not. They CAN'T be. One person says "Tummo". Another says "The Fiery Love of God". Same thing, different terms. Some will see Archangels. Others Deities. Same thing, different terms. People are different. Cultures are different. So the DETAILS of what happens can be different. That's all I'm saying. I've been doing this for close to 20 years, so I've put my time In. No "shortcuts" here. Cheers! Infolad1 Posted July 22, 2015 (edited) So the sense I make of this, is that the light seems related to the creation of the immortal fetus, while the white snow seems related to the incubation of the immortal fetus: That's basically it. They're two separate events. Your quotation Gongfu is STRONG!! Nice stuff! Cheers! Edited July 22, 2015 by Infolad1
Infolad1 Posted July 22, 2015 You have said some partial truths here. Let's remind ourselves what the zen tradition admonishes practioners: ignore visions. The step you mention that no one can skip: Why do you think visions are pervasively experienced? Because so many get lost in this realm/stage. Then some, thinking that they have become a master, in turn lead others. Visions are only a partial truth. Matthew 15:14 "They are blind guides leading the blind, and if one blind person guides another, they will both fall into a ditch." Exactly! You're driving In your car on the way New York. You might pull over on occasion to take in the sights, but you get back In the car, so you can get to New York. If you don't get back In the car, you never GET to New York. The early birds just go straight to New York. They save a lot of time. Got It? Cheers!
Infolad1 Posted July 22, 2015 Hi Infolad1 - would you be open to elaborating more on this possible connection between either the white snow or the light/pearl and the mysterious gate? This is the first I've heard of them being the same thing. Thanks! I apologize If that's how It came across. I just wrote a post talking about how they're not the same thing, the phenomena is just similar. As you upgrade to full perception of these various bodies, and bring them online, you're now open to various perceptions, and experiencing various phenomena. It might be linear, It might not be. When everyone's reading the same text, and expecting the same things to occur, the spirit accommodates. It's our faithful servant. "I want my psychoid archetype to look like Krishna". Spirit: "Done Boss." BAM! And there's Krishna. "I want mine to look like Thor". Spirit: BAM! Done. A lot of what people experience is due to conditioned response patterns, not because that's the way it actually looks. People who've had so-called "UFO" encounters, deal with the same thing. Some people see fairies, some robots, & some grey aliens. It's showing them what they expect to see. This is a great exchange! Keep it coming folks! Cheers! Daeluin Posted July 22, 2015 Thanks for the clarification! And agreed, great conversation.
Infolad1 Posted July 22, 2015 Thanks for the clarification - this thread is asking about the white snow, but many of the answers seem more related to the experience of seeing light/stars falling, etc. Easy for those unfamiliar to get confused, but otherwise this thread offers some great clarity on both topics! Sorta like asking the I-Ching a yes or no question.... you get an answer that speaks to something in between. Yes, it IS easy for people unfamiliar with the actual experience, to get confused. They described it as falling snow, because any one who's experienced it knows that's what it looks like. A modern interpretation would be "white noise". People really need to stay mindful of when all of these descriptions were written. They're not always completely accurate. It may also be a bad translation. And as someone who's worked I Ching for close to 20 years, sometimes it's cryptic, and sometimes it's VERY concrete in it's statements. Example: Top line stressed in Hexagram 16 Enthusiasm, Is :NO, it's not happening. Nothing in between about THAT stress line LOL! But that's a conversation for another thread. Cheers!

Infolad1 Posted July 23, 2015 It'd be great to discuss more with you in the I Ching subforum! Thanks Daeluin! I will, when I can. I'm launching a business next week, so things are going to get even more hyper insane for me, time wise. I will when I can though. I LOVE I Ching! I've used it for major, and minor decisions, over the years. It works! Thanks again. Cheers!
voidisyinyang Posted July 23, 2015 the original qigong master says the third eye has to be fully open for a real I Ching reading - so that is very rare. Just sit in full lotus - if you can't sit in full lotus for at least 2 hours nonstop with no movement - total bliss, channels filled with qi - then you're no where near the "falling snow" stage. It's easy for the mind to get confused but you can't fake the full lotus.

gendao Posted March 4, 2017 In many books on Taoist Yoga or Alchemy seeing "white snow flakes falling" or "white flowers falling" is a sign one is close to sagehood. What is this phenomenon? WHat does the metaphor represent? Well, Joe Lewis suddenly reached this level after getting punched in the liver by Joey Orbillo... And I saw what we call the white light, just this flash of this huge white light and your back arches back because electricity goes through your body and it just locks you up.. And then as soon as that white light disappears, you see all these hundreds of thousands of little bitty white sparkling lights coming down. And you can't move and you can't yell because you're in such great pain, there's no air left in your lungs... 3

exorcist_1699 Posted March 12, 2017 (edited) Would you please elaborate? The attitude you adopt towards those feelings such as qi, light, heat, sex pleasure...etc in your cultivation, except those happen at the initial stage , should be something like knowing-but-not-paying-attention-to ( '存而不守') , otherwise, the more you focus on them, the more you likely smother their further developments , let alone something so crucial , related to the appearance of the Magical Gateway ... Vajra Fist Posted November 23, 2019 Had an experience close to this in my late teens. Had just started meditating and somehow I got really really deep. Had a dream one night that I'd found the holy grail and had drunk from it. I woke up and for the next two days was in a semi enlightened state. The dimensional world seemed like a veneer, like it was painted over a greater reality. I could sense the molecules that made up objects, and my mind was utterly quiescent like the morning after fresh snowfall. Later when this state had receeded, I read a bit more. I'm pretty sure that when I was sensing particles of matter, I was sensing the Buddha fields. And the state of mind was of falling snow. It's been 20 years and I'm still nowhere near my attainment in that week, reached after just a handful of times meditating.
welkin Posted December 3, 2019 (edited) That's a very transformative experience for sure. I had a similar experience early this year and been trying to get there ever since, as Jim Carrey would say. Though, the snowflakes falling idea is different i believe. It is not quite literal or literal in whichever way you want to see it. It's both. I'm not saying I'm experiencing the same as what the thread was speaking about a while back, because i just don't know. Hence wishing the posters were still in this forum. But, i've gone through a fairly transcendental experience this month. One could call it the 'second awakening'. And that's why i say it's quite literal in every sense of the word. A lot of what the poster on this thread was describing resonated a lot. One is able to see very small specs all around. It's like the vision sees everything now. You also see patterns in everything. You almost feel like the world has been setting up messages for you in every single thing (that varies from person to person, so this doesn't make any point but describe my experience). You learn to not to only read or interpret the words and sentences in books, articles. You see subtle patterns and possibly hidden codes, depending on what you're reading (this means piecing together information in everything you read for the ultimate goal of whatever it is you're trying to do. Though, it's not as simple as it sounds. it takes time, but nonetheless it's what's happening). Everything becomes easy to solve. And that being said, the only thing that doesn't and should never become easy is the control of one's ability, opportunity, freedom to choose what to do feel. Sometimes choice is the hardest part of all and worth the journey. The proof of all this is that i am able to attain supernatural abilities without really trying at this point. Which is why i refrain from training anything, because i'm not ready to take on that journey unless there is a sure purpose. What's funny is that the most powerful message i have gotten so far is "Never forget". It's as if we've forgotten who we are, which is why we think all these things are so difficult. If we can remember who we are, it's almost as if these things that are innate in us, awaken. It's not necessarily about trying hard, it's about remembering. That's it. Though, trying hard is important, in order to prove one is worthy. I also think a lot of people around the world are attaining these things trying even less than i am too. So it has to be the age we're transitioning into. Also, it seems 'remembering' and making one's body 'perfect' can be synonymous. beingnature Posted December 4, 2019 (edited) On 21.7.2015 at 2:16 AM, Infolad1 said: Hi MooNiNite, It's not a metaphor. It happens once all the dantiens (Lower, Middle, & Upper) come online. It's along the lines of what happens with the appearance of "The Mysterious Gate". I saw the "Mysterious Gate" when my lower dantien was fully online, and middle, and upper dantiens were coming online. You see points of light that look like stars, and points of light first. Then the mysterious gate shows up, first in your peripheral vision, then in The falling snow landmark was like that...x11. Instead of just a few points of light here, and there, It's a BUNCH of them, coming down in front of your eyes. Kind of like white noise on an old style TV set, but moving slower, and In the air in 3D. You'll see the sequence happen a number of times, If you lose jing during your practice. I experienced it also exactly like you described! Always wondered if this could be that snow.Experienced it multiple times also .Very beautiful and it came always with a qi going upwards and a shift in perception.Really crazy to see such things with eyes open and even if i moved my head looking around me they kept flying in 3d I am into i think 15 years of practice.Sitting , standing, "spontaneous qigong" Edited December 4, 2019 by NATURE BEEING
