Socialism does work

Recommended Posts

Socialism doest not work because people lose their time talking about it.

Organize.

They've been organizing and protesting and writing manifestos for over 150 years now and still can't convince a simpleminded brainwashed hayseed from the mountains of North Carolina.

It's ok I'm going outside to shoot myself so no need to troll any more.

But I haven't caught any fish yet!

The Nazi party was called the national socialist German workers party. If we really needed anymore proof, there it is in black and white. Socialist- couldn't be clearer, says it on the tin.

It was not socialist as you believe. The party started out as a workers party and even Hitler supported the unions in the beginning. However, once these groups joined the party, Hitler killed Ernst Rohm the leader of the SA who helped bring Hitler to power. Put the union leaders in work camps and disbanded all unions. Any group that was a perceived threat to the power of the state was disbanded. Please get your facts straight before arguing on this topic. There are myriad documents online for anyone to read.

Hitler was an avowed right wing anti-communist. Can you answer as to why?

That's what cost him the war too.

Not so fast there, you anarchist you! The Global Workers Collective for Fairness for the Masses hasn't yet voted to decide whether you will be required to fish or prohibited from fishing. You'll get to vote, too, though, and then your mandatory compliance will be entirely voluntary.

Did I say 'all' as in everyone. I meant all that went if that clarifies that for you. I'm glad you don't support torture and enslavement of other humans. What about theft and kidnapping ?

You did state "all" and that was why I was critical of your statement.

I agree with thelerner in that there is a major confusion with European style socialism and the failed communist form which is not socialist, but totalitarian.

Ah the foundations are creaking. There is no confusion. There is not a better form, there are degrees of creeping socialism/fascism, but the intention is the same. To use the government to enact socialist reforms. We already have soft fascism and soft socialism. We are heading back towards totalitarianism. The state has gained more power and has intruded far more into people's lives than it ever has.

The new form is very apparent in the treatment of Greece.

Most people can't answer that question regarding his hate for communists and yes, it did cost him the war. The insane invasion of Russia and the slaughter that ensued that cost the Russians dearly along with Hitler losing his entire sixth army. It is in Kershaw's first volume around page 48 if I remember correctly.

Because he believed his was the right form of communism. Nazi as opposed to Bolshevic communism. You also need to understand it in context of the consistent feud between Germany and Russia. Hitlers intention was always to expand East into Russia.

Right and Left are for all intents and purposes the same collectivist, brutal, totalitarian regimes. The real sliding scale is more government less government. What I find particularly difficult to understand is that those who consider themselves a socialist left stand with libertarians on freedom, tolerance to race and increased attacks on privacy by the state.

Sure.

But what exactly in us chooses?

The question is possibly rather: Can we will what we choose?

Because of their higher intelligence, most common humans believe not only to be superior to other animals,

they even believe to not be animals at all.

Following that logic, what is then a human with "far above average human intelligence"? Uber-human?

Why should I? Is it against TTB forum rules?

I am just honest. I know that I have superior intelligence, thanks to corresponding scientific proof.

On the other hand, overcompensating an inferiority complex is not very honest imo...

We can choose that's all.

Humans are animals with the capacity to reason.

There are many extremely intelligent people with extremely poor reasoning skills. One does not automatically mean the other. I think the accepted name for those of high intelligence is genius.

If you are intelligent or not intelligent it's all the same to me. I don't judge, there are loads of people more intelligent than I am-which is a very good thing as long as they are using that intelligence wisely.

Inferiority complex ?

Every modern economy is a mixture of socialist and capitalist policies. That's the path that's been found by trial and error to work best. The chart below shows government expenditure as a percentage of GDP. As can be seen 'capitalist' US and 'socialist' Europe are not very far apart.

You have missed the historical point and no, Hitler was not advocating a better form of communism. Where do you find these ideas? I will give you a hint. Munich elections.

<snip>Inferiority complex ?

ZOOM believes he is vastly superior in intelligence to everyone else on the forum and believes he has "scientific proof" (an IQ test a shrink did on him) to confirm it -- which I guess makes it irrefutable proof rather than a belief. You are therefore ashamed of your inadequacy and you make shit up to try to make yourself seem even a fraction as smart as he is, but you will necessarily fail because you are just a puny common human animal while he is a member of the new uber-human super-race. Or something like that...

Well what can I say, he would definitely know about these things, I bow to his superiority in such matters and go off and read a comic-well look at the pretty pictures at least.

You mean why don't they agree with yours ? LOL

National SOCIALIST party - big clue can you see it. Where do you think he got his ideas ? Oh let me think-from a socialist of some kind called Marx where socialist ideologies came from. He interpreted Marx differently that's all.
