sheiku Posted December 25, 2015 (edited) Hy,This is my experience. For me it was simpler than i could think...The key for me was in perseverance, daily, for about 2 month, not in sophisticated techniques...I barely read 1 book - The secret of chinese meditation of Lu Kuan You. I have instead some experience in some yoga..many many years in the past. For me was enough to practice for about 15- 20 min in the morning and 15-20 min in the night. Was better for me to practice 15 + 15 min ( divided) instead of 30 min once.So. in short :1) accumulate the QI in the abdomen - until you feel it a little warm or better warmer.2) push it up to the spinemore detail :1) every morning i do some stretching exercises or some light Falungong ( for about 5 minutes )Why ? I felt that doing that i open my channels and energy is not stagnant in the body.2) after that i simply sit down with leg crossed and inhale and exhale, moving my abdominal wall until i feel something moving inside. maybe 5 minutesafter that i simply cease to breath profoundly and i continue to breath naturally with my intention and my mind on the abdomen..for about 10 minutes..After 1 month I felt my abdomen warm, i felt that the Qi was accumulating. In all that month I start to practice moola bandha, anus contraction..so on, lightly, 20--50 contractions whenever it was possible..to harden my pelvic floor.(.in the bus, when i driving my car..when i read a book.)NO ejaculation, or as you can afford. but you will loose all your progress if you ejaculate.. After i learned to contract my pelvic floor i mastered the control over my ejaculation..( But this is with...brute force/ muscular control - no real sublimation here, but it is an good step)After 1 month I felt my abdomen warm, i felt that the Qi was accumulating. Sometimes i was sweating and getting warmer all over the body.Gradually in my meditation i began to do complete Buddhist respiration + light anus contraction or moola bandha contraction. But light and not many because contractions distract me or my intention from being there on my Dantien. Usually i feel that I breath with all my abdominal or lumbar or penis skin or more with my nadis ( external meridians - in my aura) and i am not using the nose and my lungs to breath. Mind is as possible...EMPTY.After 2-3 weeks i felt my abdomen warmer, i felt a sort of vibration inside ..I read it someday, somewhere about reverse breathing ( Taoist breathing ...is this correct? ) and the following statement:CONTRACT your anus while you INHALE.I do it few times , in one meditation for 1-2 minutes...Woow..i felt then that my abdomen was with fire and every anus contractions i made , all the energy i felt in my abdomen was pushed UP to the spine..It is a similar sensations as you do the Nauli Crya...all your energy is sucked up..to the head. The energy route is not thin, is not only inside the spine. I felt it all over my back to the neck and had..I closed after that the circuit with the tongue, as i saw in one book and i felt that some of the energy was going down >> chest >> abdomen...But this is a problem for me ( only a small amount is going down) I feel that the front circuit is still not opened ..My energy is running up and a large quantity i loose in the had or outside the had..After than i gain control also over my sexual energy..with sublimation. If i feel sexual tension i do some moola badha in SCO, or nauly crya ..So no visualization for me. the thing was happened..In the mean time , the food was:no meat, or very very little ( maybe 100 grams/week) , many seeds, fruits, grains, sprouted seeds, germs, bees honey, goji, lentils soup, rice, and soups ( to warm the kidney - very important) ...sometimes some herbs like chlorella, asvagandha, ginseng, maca...so one..But the menu should be done according your own energy ( not mine)If i eat processed food ( pizza, meat, ... ) more than 1 day i feel that all my channels became blocked and the energy is not free inside them and became stagnant.Hope this helps. Sometimes i practice also the small small circuit as doctor Yang Ming stated in one dvd. It is a small version of the SCO. you drive the energy on the back at the level of the kidney and after that you return it in the front of the body ..on the navel ad after that down Edited December 25, 2015 by sheiku
vonkrankenhaus Posted December 25, 2015 People have various trouble spots where the circulation will move more slowly or be stopped. The natural slow spots are where there is mainly hard tissue - like back of neck/head. Ren & Du vessels connect through the entire ailimentary tract. Any hardening in the body is an impediment. This include over-contraction in tissues from refined salt, meat, eggs, hard cheese, etc. Also intestinal blockage in people eating meat. Which some try to dissolve by tui na (massage). But eating same, this is never really dissolved. But for cultivation we should be very flexible and free in movements. Most difficulties with small circulation are due to such hardness. It is better to reduce or eliminate the source of hardening rather than continually compensate for it with external manipulations and postures. -VonKrankenhaus

The real one is advanced and so people say don't start out with it. The actual truth is you fake it until you make it. Read the book "Taoist Yoga: Alchemy and Immortality" for details on the different levels of MCO practice. Of course any mention of that book will also trigger people to protest. Essentially the MCO works on one level by linking the breath and mind together through visualization - and hence it's a tantra practice. But on the other hand the advanced real MCO relies on first filling up the lower tan tien with yin qi energy (yang jing) - and that requires Emptiness focus as the foundation of the practice. So any kind of physical stimulation just produces the opposite of Emptiness focus. If the practice is going well - the qi builds up but does so by no fluid being produced. Massage produces fluid. So only Emptiness as the foundation of practice works. Now if you're 80 years old - can't get an erection - then yes massage is necessary and that is mentioned in the Taoist Yoga book but Westerners admitted project their stupidity onto that based. Just writing about this stuff causes a blockage. So yes the only way to fix the fluid problem is Quick Fire - also detailed in the Taoist Yoga book but it's based on the HuiMing Ching - Quick Fire being rapid deep reverse breathing. Very well done! That is the right idea, what are the thing/s to be considered the two vessels are being connected? Also, what was considered to be that they are not connected? In other words, how do you discribe them? Edited March 4, 2020 by ReturnDragon
Spotless Posted March 7, 2020 There has been reference to the idea that the MCO when opened fully is perhaps a kundalini experience. This is not the case - though it is similar in the sense of the immensity of the energies and experience. The full opening of the MCO does not recede but it is incorporated into a number of prolonged transformations and unifications of various previously somewhat separated channels and subtle bodies. Kundalini in its higher forms is utterly striking and does also transform but generally it rises with incalculable intensity for generally fairly brief periods. I have experienced it many times in many different ways - one of the most surprising was during sex with a girl I had met on a beach in Tahoe only hours earlier. Suddenly from the tip of my member to the top of my head the incredible extremes of kundalini opened in an aching relentless intensity. On another occasion 14 hours into a sitting meditation a blast of kundalini from the base of my spine shot up the sushumna in a column of energy that was the size of a fire hydrant fully open and many times the force. It fully blew my awareness up above my head and there it sat floating above the massive energy fountain until it subsided and awareness floated peacefully back into the center of the head where I meditated for another 4 hours. In another case I was doing holotropic breathing in a class and suddenly about 1 hour into constant breathing I inverted into a yoga pose I would not have considered possible since I had not done it for at least 15 years. It is the one in which the body is facing stomach to ceiling in a full arch with hands inverted towards the head. I could completely see and feel all of my chakras - I could look at them from any angle and see them on my skin and down into them and around them and everywhere I put any awareness. If I had chosen to I could have hopped around in that “impossible pose” such was the extreme energy and physical certainty and power. The “impossible pose” was a visceral necessary spontaneous non-doing happening - everything was electric ⚡️ In the opening of the MCO initially and since now for years I began to feel as if I was floating while I walked - a very grounded feeling but the weight and effort of my body was gone. I did not associate this with my MCO perhaps because I have not had any indoctrination into the teachings of Qi Gong - I simply practiced it with an elite grand master that speaks no english so most of the teaching was him tweaking my subtle posture here and there and occasionally asking him a question with a translator if needed (I practiced with him six to seven days a week for years). When the MCO fully opened it was completely unexpected and huge - a massive circuit of energy rotating up the ren and down the du. 8-10 inches in diameter in the main column with energy extending well outside of that. For weeks prior to this huge tubes of energy had built up and I felt like the Michelin Man - they had fused and transformed and fused and transformed several times as all became a unified field and many “separate” channels became a field. 4
