SonOfTheGods answered that esoteric part already   I would suggest, some celibacy or at least moderation!, earthing (outside...in the park, the home cable thats popular nowadays can be done wrong in some cases...) sungazing will make you calm / feel good at about 40 minutes. Some 1h and a bit more to feel energised. It takes about 2 years to get there if you live around europe. Workout do hungar type dynamic tension. You know REALLY tense those muscles a lot. That builds the 'ligaments' - talking from experience. But any workout will do.  I would stay away from vitamins...if you want to take them get a healthy source. There are many types for each mineral and those sold in walmart are the worst types everytime. Otherwise just workout and gain some chi, its the LDT building that gives the 'pump'.
