jeremyll33 Posted October 15, 2015 Hallo there, my name is Jeremy I'm British but live in Germany. I did a course in Qi Gong a year or so ago. I took it up again lately and every single morning I indulge in "Eight Pieces of Brocade" thanks to Dr Yan Jwing Ming's books/site. I follow the sequence the best I can, I love that it is 1500 years old. I can imagine myself doing it at 70. Hope I've come to the right site.
soaring crane Posted October 15, 2015 Hello Jeremy, and welcome to the forums! Glad you found your way to us, I think you'll find plenty of good information to enhance your practice. My advice, though, is to take it sloooooow. Btw, I'm an ex-pat American who's been living in Germany for twenty years :-) Please take the time to read the two posts pinned at the top of this Welcome page and take a look at the forum terms and rules. This covers all you need to know when getting started. For the first week you will be restricted to ten posts per day but after that you can post as much as you like. Also, until you’ve posted fifteen times in the forums, you’ll be a “Junior Bum” with somewhat restricted access and will be allowed only two private messages per day. Good luck in your pursuits and best wishes to you, SC and the TDB team
jeremyll33 Posted October 16, 2015 Thanks SC. I'm discovering the more 8POB becomes routine, the more you get out of it. it does inexplicable things to you every day and they are always different. Being an Ami I'm guessing ex military. I was on post as a contractor in Grafenwöhr in the middle of 9-11. I live south of Munich.
