Marblehead Posted February 7, 2016 Well the last 20 or so comments arn't worth replying to. Are you suggesting I have been pissing into the wind?
Nungali Posted February 8, 2016 (edited) Well the last 20 or so comments arn't worth replying to. But I was not talking about comments and replies to comments was I ? ralis, on 05 Feb 2016 - 12:23, said: @MooNiNite If the earth is flat, then what happens to ocean water at the edge? Does it fall into space? Does the water fall over the edge and pulled back to the other side of the pancake via capillary action? They are questions not comments . And your attempts to avoid them are very obvious Edited February 8, 2016 by Nungali
Nungali Posted February 8, 2016 (edited) If we stand on our head the world will be upside down. Then, when its proved the earth is flat, thelerner's egg will run off your face into your hair ..... I hear egg is good for hair . Edited February 8, 2016 by Nungali

Marblehead Posted February 13, 2016 In other words, the question is solved: Earth is flat AND round/spherical, depending on the point of reference. Not fair. You answered my question before I asked it.

Marblehead Posted February 13, 2016 (edited) I have stated before that I think there is more to gravity than we generally understand. Warped space helps understand things in the macro but it really doesn't apply in the micro, does it? I mean, when the apple fell on Newton's head it didn't fall in a curved trajectory. It took the most direct course. That is, unless we consider the rotation of the Earth. Wouldn't the apple have to fall in a curve in order to keep up with the rotation of the Earth in order to fall in a straight line? Marblehead Posted February 13, 2016 Watch the videos I posted! They talk about the apple. Okay. I had to take a break and do some things around here that needed to be done.
Marblehead Posted February 13, 2016 I'm back. My apple still "fell" to the floor and either my flat Earth is stationary or my round Earth is rotating. I do accept the concept of space/time. And yes, I have previously called it the 4th dimension. I don't accept the idea of past/present/future being the same thing. I hold to the old linear concept of time. And cause and effect too. Can't have the effect before you have the cause. Most of the information was over my head though. And there were many conflicts created in my mind. I guess I'll never be a rocket scientist. Oh well.
