Nungali Posted December 31, 2015 LIke this; I was always charmed by those UK villages that had a stream running through the middle or along side of them. It used to fascinate me as ... well .... we wouldnt build like that here *, and I used to think UK got more rain than us , and , ummmmm what happens when it rains a lot and the stream floods ? * actually I went to one town that did, the ruins of the old town were down in the valley beside a dry creek bed, the 'new ' town was rebuilt on a nearby rise ,,, and that was in dry country, that only floods every 50 - 100 years.
