thelerner Posted December 31, 2015 None for me yet. Other then to finish up the Wim Hof 10 Week program in under 3 3 1/2 months. Get back on track with regular exercising. And take advantage of the Chicago, the plays, music and special events there. I'd like to bike more, kayak more, write more. Suppose I should put specificity to those wants.
Chang Posted January 1, 2016 Make a start by writing your goals/resolutions down. Apparently just putting them to paper makes you far more likely to carry them through.

Taomeow Posted January 1, 2016 Never to step out of the bar thirty minutes before New Year's midnight, be locked out by a woman of unclear authority, perhaps the bouncer's sidekick, who makes the list of the outgoing people but refuses to see them as incoming on return, on the grounds of the bar being full to capacity, and freeze half to death in a chiffon outfit, drink champagne out of a plastic goblet courtesy of the management apparently prepared in advance for such happenstances (unlike me) with other locked-out not-let-back-in outsiders, and at the strike of midnight be passionately kissed by a stray Mexican waiter for lack of access to people i know who are actually busy providing music entertainment inside, nice and warm on the stage, ever again. Alternatively, try my dim mak skills on the woman, the bouncer, and whoever else is interested in providing a freezing New Year for me next time and see if it still works after all that champagne.

liminal_luke Posted January 1, 2016 This year my mom and I are suggesting New Years resolutions for each other. My mother´s resolution for me is to write down three things at the end of each day that I´m proud of. Works for me.

AussieTrees Posted January 1, 2016 (edited) Should socialise more. Not so easy, watching everyone get drunk, marital disputes flare after adding alcohol and can be dramatic, when you are a teatottaler. Music just more noise, difficult to abstain. This Xmas bush fire flared after burning for a week or so,very hot 41-42C well this fire still burning New Year's Eve,very smoky, increasing risks, over one hundred houses already burnt out, those helicopters do a good job of water bombing,so partner and kids had a sleep over at her brothers. They had to move the new years'Rock above the falls'concert, couldn't hear it at all this year, nice. Home alone,no alcohol,no music, really hot,had a few dips and chips, can of passionfruit softdrink,in bed asleep by2220hrs,oh yea water the garden before that. No resolutions, don't want anymore of anything. Got this three inch diameter red circle on my right bicep, should see a doctor for a second opinion. Don't know how long this red circle has been there, been treating it as ringworm past six weeks, hasn't gone away, mmm hope also to reach 2017. May you all reach 2017 after an enjoyable new year. Taomeow Posted January 2, 2016 Does look like ringworm more than anything else, seeing a doctor is a good idea, pau d'arco tea (externally and internally) is another good idea. I was in a weird mood for this new year too. Haven't felt this alienated since 2001. It's not the real thing yet of course, the real new year comes February 8th this time around, but the energy is already felt. Man it's going to be challenging. Haven't looked at this kind of feng shui challenges in a long time. Hang in there. For some, it will be a good year, but there's this built-in not-so-good aspect too, on a global scale. I'll post some predictions a bit later...
