This was standard practice not so long ago,the lobotomy in treating mental disorders at the mental hospital,or was it "the forced opening of the third eye".

 

 I think this was the forced closing of the third eye.

yea brings to mind that movie "one flew over the kuku nest" with Jack N. where they ice picked the brain of their victims.
