Hey there!

Recommended Posts

Hello-

It feels great to be writing this, and although I'm stuck on how I want to express what I want to say, I know that I am here for a reason that I will not regret. I'm a young person who seeks to discover the deeper dimensions of Dao, to apply the principles of wu wei, detachment, and compassion as I am experiencing transitions in my life, and to find fluidity, groundedness and ease in my mind and body (that is a mouthful!). I am currently enjoying Stephen Mitchell's translation of Tao Te Ching.

My name is Tiger.

Hello Crouching_tiger, and welcome.

Please take the time to read the two posts pinned at the top of this Welcome page and take a look at the forum terms and rules. This covers all you need to know when getting started.

For the first week you will be restricted to ten posts per day but after that you can post as much as you like. Also, until you’ve posted fifteen times in the forums, you’ll be a “Junior Bum” with somewhat restricted access and will be allowed only two private messages per day.

Good luck in your pursuits and best wishes to you,

Hi Tiger,

Yeah, we all go through changes throughout our life.  Sometimes the changes are difficult to deal with and a lot of people get stuck during the transition.

Daoism will get us pointed in a worthy direction.  But we still have to do the work.

Yeah, wu wei is actually a good method for efficiently using the time we have in this life.

Best Wishes on your journey.

May you enjoy your time here.
