The origin of mankind

Recommended Posts

There is no 'gravitation constant rule' as an absolute. This is a man made conception of the actions/nature of objects.

Oh well, we disagree here. ,since Im thinking the rules are the real thing not the objects or even our mathematical descriptions of the rules. I dont think I can prove it this morning though.

To 'butt in'. Time and space are relative only to man. They describe causality as understood by the human mind. Without human conception then causality continues, but the relation disappears. An expansive, or shrinking universe is causality in action. Causality is the result of entities with particular natures (therefore identities) acting on each other.

Your reasoning is valid but I disagree with you.

All living things are directly effected by the variations of time and space.  Remove all living things from the universe and then I would agree with you.

Interesting.  Yes, "gravity" is a man created concept.  As I have said before, I believe more work needs be done here.

All living things have a nature, that nature is to operate in the universe relative the other things. We have free will, that is our nature.

Okay.  Hehehe.

It is our conceptual view of causality. The causality is an absolute, things by their nature follow trajectories, we term one of these causalities as Gravity. We call the Sun a star. It doesn't mean that stars don't exist, but we are categorising what we see to make sense of the universe.

I agree that more work needs doing. This is where I was going with Brian, but it was just turning fractious. I blame myself for that.

A Platonic perspective, essentially. I agree with this.

The concept perhaps, as our limited understanding of what is really there.

But the thing per se is not created by Man, otherwards the dinosaurs would have floated off into space. :D

Yeah, let's work on it.

:-) if we take away the objects the events should still occur ;-)

Yes, as said, I think more understanding is forthcoming.

But they did.

Yeah, let's work on it.

I'll have to do my work inside.  I was outside and it already got too hot to be out there any longer.

Yeah, you just get too hard-assed sometimes.  (So do I.)

Sometimes the enthusiasm gets taken for aggression.

There are no need of coconut trees on unpopulated island so they don't grow there, come to think of it there arent any unpopulated islands there just seems like there might be. Edited by Karl

Events dont actually occur , since events are mental constructs which begin and end at arbitrarily decided points , consider a war ending , well is that when paper is signed , people agree fighting halts,  reparations made ...

Ah yes, everything is a mental construct, I mentally forgot to make a mental note about that. Now what did I say again ?

I wasnt thinking of his paradigm , but I do see how it kind-of fits.

Umm not everything is a mental construct , the chair in a dark room has potential to trip up , or uphold a person though the construct is not made since they cant see in the dark.. but youre close. :)

Student says to master , there is a table ,, he replies "there is no table", the student persists, "Then there is wood". The master continues, "There is no wood". The student says , "well then , what is there?" The master concludes,, I dont know , but yes, there is something. So the student says, "Then what can I learn from you! ", the master says ,"Nothing, I can only show you what to forget." :)

No, no, it's all mental construct, consciousness manifesting the illusion of reality. I'm not writing this I only imagine I am. Oh it's so brilliant, I can shove this needle into my eye and that pain is pure illusion and that ambulance I've just called for. Ow ow this illusion hurts a lot.

I'm pretty sure coconuts fall "down".  I have actually never heard of anything falling up.

And yes, the tree made a sound even though there was no one there to hear it.

That's because all those islands were Atlantis type islands and when the volcano went "poof" the island became unpopulated.
