Clear'Waters Posted May 21, 2016 When practicing continuous days, is there ever such thing as 'over doing it'? Many times I go by feeling, i.e. if I'm not emotionally ready to practice, I would first sit or do some activity to clear up my mind. As well if my physical body is fatigued I would go and rest. But is this a time where meditation would be beneficial? To calm the mind and body from external stimulus?

Jonesboy Posted May 21, 2016 (edited) When working with certain energy practices one can do to much. The energy hits on emotional issues and can bring up some serious emotional upsets that you can have trouble letting go of. Â Also, energy practices have been known to give one an internal sunburn if done for too long or if you are not ready for them. Â AYP doesn't have a lot of fans here but it does a great job of talking about "overloading" if you would like further research.
