Golden Dragon Shining Posted July 10, 2016 “If you love a flower, don’t pick it up.Because if you pick it up it dies and it ceases to be what you love.So if you love a flower, let it be.Love is not about possession.Love is about appreciation.”― Osho
Rakiel Posted July 10, 2016 Beautiful quote. I was actually just observing a flower in the garden before i read this: how it just bloomed overnight. Rooted in the earth, healthy, happy.

People constantly help others to fulfill their purposes by giving them opportunities. Those opportunities are the will of our shared divine nature imo.
Direwolf Posted July 12, 2016 Beautiful quote and I can agree to that. It reminds me of when I was a child picking up insects and other wildlife, not putting them back where I found them, picking up plants despite the fact that they would wither and die. Sometimes it's best to observe, and appreciate the beauty in nature instead of reaching out and taking it when it will merely wither away when we do so. noonespecial Posted July 12, 2016 But that flower is going to die and putrefy so why not just pick it and put it in a vase.
Direwolf Posted July 12, 2016 But that flower is going to die and putrefy so why not just pick it and put it in a vase. True, but the flower has a purpose, bees and other parts of nature use them for their functions, by plucking it out we are removing it from that function, and the seeds of the plant come from the flower as well. It's not about flowers, it's about our tendency to try and possess those we think we care for.
