Nungali Posted July 21, 2016 (edited) Just dont ask for a decision by jury  ...... OMG! that IS scary !  Judge to Nungali and other juror's ; " We rely on decisions of guilty or  not guilty  by having them made by a panel of 12 people randomly selected from the community ."  ie. people not trained in law, evaluation of evidence, etc, etc .         Edited July 21, 2016 by Nungali
Karl Posted July 21, 2016 Only the person who is on trial and the accuser knows the real truth, and then, it comes to the truth as they each see it. Â Perspective... There are undeniable facts present in any case; objective evidence devoid of perspective.
Marblehead Posted July 21, 2016 There are undeniable facts present in any case; objective evidence devoid of perspective. Â But oftentimes those facts are withheld and therefore the objective truth is never known.
blue eyed snake Posted July 21, 2016 hah, I read the OP as an answer on the guilt-trips that many people are riding. In that case not guilty is a refreshing notion,
Karl Posted July 21, 2016 But oftentimes those facts are withheld and therefore the objective truth is never known. Yet those facts remain absolutes. Objective truth IS known by the participants. Â This is the same argument that goes ' John has a cold and I don't have a cold, therefore there is no objective truth that can be known'. That is a logical fallacy, because John has a cold-that is true for John. It is also true for everyone else that John has a cold. It is an established fact. Marblehead Posted July 21, 2016 Yes, the facts are absolutes. But if they are unknown by others then there will never be a subjective truth.
Karl Posted July 21, 2016 Yes, the facts are absolutes. But if they are unknown by others then there will never be a subjective truth. Quite right, there isn't a subjective truth, truth is objective reality, the facts are the facts. Just as the tree makes a sound when it falls in the forest whether there is anyone to hear it or not.

roger Posted July 21, 2016 I just wanted to add that part of the reason no one is "guilty" is that lack of love and attack are only ILLUSIONS. Â The truth is no one ever wrongs anyone, in actuality, in ultimate reality. Â There's only an APPEARANCE of lack of love.
