Hello from France

Recommended Posts

Hello everybody,

I started my spiritual path by practising Kunlun which I really enjoy, and now I'm also studying/practising Franz Bardon's books. I would be glad to share informations here !
This community seems very nice.

Thank you ! :)

Hello purple_haze48, and welcome.

Your membership is approved and we're happy you found your way to us. We look forward to accompanying you on some of the way that you still have to go.

Please take the time to read the two posts pinned at the top of this Welcome page and take a look at the forum terms and rules. This covers all you need to know when getting started.

For the first week you will be restricted to ten posts per day but after that you can post as much as you like. Also, until you’ve posted fifteen times in the forums, you’ll be a “Junior Bum” with somewhat restricted access and will be allowed only two private messages per day.

Good luck in your pursuits and best wishes to you,

Marblehead and the TDB team

Hi purple_haze48,

Yes, we are generally very nice except when we let our emotions and ego guide us during our interactions.

You are welcome to jump right in ongoing discussions, revive an older thread, start a new thread of your own, or start a discussion in the "Newcomer Corner" sub-forms to expand on your introduction or ask general questions to help you get started.

May you enjoy your time here.

Marblehead

Hehehe.  Sometimes two grains of salt will be needed.

:) Sometimes one, sometimes two, but when it comes to three not sure you should eat it ;)

That's about enough salt to go with a shot of tequila! :)

Just sayin'...

Yeah, but be careful because sometimes his particles look like waves and othertimes his waves look like particles.

That tells you if he drinks water or beer, that's all :)

Or tea! I often drink tea.

Actually, those really are my three primary beverages -- water, tea and beer. Probably 80/15/5, percentage-wise, just as a ballpark estimate. Or maybe 75/20/5? Something like that.

An occasional taste of something different once in a while.

Particles and waves look more like probabilistic energy distributions to me... ;)

Thanks all for your answers! I usually take everything with a grain of salt, the taste is better  ;)

In the taoist system, it means you are mindful of nourishing your Kidneys, and that's a good start.

Welcome, by the way.  There seems to be a shortage of taoist-minded French people in the world, but the ones I know, a couple of my taiji friends, are great.

I throw this link in whenever Bardon is mentioned on the off chance the person doesn't know about it.  Rawn Clark has a site called abardoncompanion.com.  He's a long time knowledgeable practitioner who has notes on the system (IIH) as well as a collection of free Bardon inspired audio's that run pretty deep with complimentary practices.
