The three treasures 三寶 sānbǎo

Recommended Posts

After reading several documents on Daoism, I find confusing how people use the three treasures. Reading chapter 67 from DDJ shows the 3 treasures although there is 3 treasures from other sources as jing, qi, shen and also refers to Chinese traditional medicine. Let me know how you understand and apply the three treasures.

Thanks,

I got caught up in that once before I knew there was a three treasures of inner alchemy.

The two are totally different animals.

I speak to only what is in Chapter 67.

I have always found that the word Shen causes great confusion in translation and many in the wet take spirit to spirituality when I believe all it is really referring to is the mind.

谢谢妳 and does that mean there are more 三寶 in Daoism? I just read 一贯道 has also 三寶. Do you need to specify when you talk about the 3 treasures according to the situation in a conversation?

Thanks
