The lunar cycle can be used for labelingĀ locations along the orbit (as in XiuZhenTu) so this may describe something that occurs in the middle or upper areas of the body, and then swallowed back down to be re-digested?

The footnote for this verse (Crowe,Ā page 69) says:Ā "Yuan Gongfu explains that in advancing the fire one has to employ the same kind of care as one would in cooking a small fish." Reminding of something DaoDeJing 60 said aboutĀ not overdoing things.
