TheWhiteRabbit Posted January 1, 2017 So, this year I plan to not live in the past anymore. I realize everyone has impetus for change now and then and some objects are only past related. I think I know enough now to not be baited on subjects and I think I have learned much overtime about it. I think for me it is more freedom from old ideas as the new ideas take form and take hold. thelerner Posted January 1, 2017 Loose 15#s by June 30th and get 2 articles published within 3 months. I'd like to find 2 or 3 longer term projects I can do, preferably with group support and some shorter challenges. Maybe do at least one month of Krav Maga. Do another Polar Bear plunge. Get tickets to a Burning Man Event. Do something memorable at least once every other week. Concert, new restaurant, play, concert, cultural event etc., Bike and kayak more. Get to know the Skokie lagoons. Do a Road Scholar Trip. Maybe a golf one. Do more meditation keeping attention on tip of nose, whilst connecting middle eye and heart. ralis Posted January 1, 2017 I am in Las Vegas NV where the best parties are happening. 'The Strip' is blocked from all auto traffic and recreational cannabis is legal at 12:01 tonight. zerostao Posted January 3, 2017 (edited) 2017 be like i had a great weekend and even had my research paper on Ovid's Metamorphoses due 11:55 pm New Years day, my somerset peeps got me thru it. the saturday night party was a mixed crowd, i reckon you could say, a 3 year old was dancing up a storm for a bit and then he sat on a bar stool at the bar, i walked to the otherside of the bar to face him, he; he looked up, threw a hand up like to wave( or signal just stop) then he said "No Thanks" yeah having a major assignment deadline on a major holiday was a challenge for my type, yet, i got er done and now have the rest of the month off,,yeah free time anyone up for playin or hangin out, hit me up Edited January 3, 2017 by zerostao Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
