Marblehead Posted February 21, 2017 Care to share some parts or else we'll have the same problem with you  Well, I won't tell you enough so that you feel you no longer have to watch it.  It wasn't just about Lao Tzu but contained within the story plot the life of many other people. It is actually a nice drama movie.  The part about Lao Tzu wondering to the West and sharing his wisdom with the Duke(?) is according to what I have gained from reading comments in various texts and on the internet.  And yes, he was riding on an ox (water buffalo), not an ass.  And yes, it reflected reality as I would expect life was like back then.  Well worth watching. 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

awaken Posted February 28, 2017 (edited) Yes, I like æ¦ä¿ 。  空海's road is similar to me.  But I have not read much from him.  I read Buddhism sutras or Daoist texts directly.  There are many masters in Taiwan.  They teach on TV.  But I don't like to see that film.  It is boring, too.  And it is too easy.  Most of those films are for beginners.
