There have been a few heated debates recently.

Personally, it all sounds way too money driven to me. It's something like 5000 Euros to meet the masters and train with David for a couple weeks. That doesn't cover flights, hotels etc... Then they sell additional healings and dan elixers etc... which are also very expensive. Then on top of that there's the bull incident where they allegedly suck the lifeforce out of a bull and transmit it to the students. The charge is around 2000$ per bull and some people were told they needed 5 bulls etc... More important than the monetary issue of course, is the moral issue of stealing the life force from an unwilling creature for your own development. All in all, way too many red flags for me.

PS: back to you nutting. And back to being serious on the matter. Let me suggest again to take your time and read through the forum on your search for your answers. There are not many here who met David personally and even just have a slight idea of what his "feats" are, if there is anything actually to say about 'em. At first thought I thought the Foundation forum might be a better place for you to look for answers as David has been on there quite often (much less often now), on second thought though I realize that with your approach you hardly won't get answers there as well for simple reasons... take care

About the oil. How much do you take, and in what form? I would love to know.

I never spoke about oil. What about avocado, or unpastorised butter. Ok, forget about the raw butter, that was a joke in the uk. But you can buy raw cream not far from london.

Also mixing avocado with unheated honey, should make you a nice juice, sweet, and yummy.

 

If you eat enough that will start to throw away poison from your body.

 

And of course the best is raw butter. But you need to smuggle it from french.

 

Regarding the oil, the problem is that often it is not "cold enough" pressed. You really need something that was pressed through a stone grind (is that the right word?). Because the heat if not does not get diffused and locally it gets warmed. Now the stone grind tend to hold the taste of the oil. So who has one will not let people from another farm, with lower quality oil use it. Which is why it is so rare.

darebak, I feel like I straddle two roles here, admin/moderator and regular member, so I prefer people think of me as just another member with my own issues unless I am specifically acting as a moderator. To get a better feeling for the 'Oh no, not again' responses you're getting, you could look up some of the old threads on David Shen. His biggest promoter was Sean Denty, who runs the Foundation board. So looking up his old posts will lead you to the David Shen stuff. Many of the threads lasted for weeks, most are filled w/ arrogance, bad taste and occassional threats of violence

 

No particular reason for such poor behavior, but it happened again and again.

The reminder stings - and I am humbled by the memory- I was -(Nutting et al newbies)- one of those who were provoked to make angry and beligerent response to Denty's arrogant claims...I felt he needed to be grounded in a serious manner and demanded his appology which was accepted -much to the chagrin of some TBums etc...It was about as flaming as I've seen here -(but I am post Jeremy...) -A bit of histerics over history perhaps...But I was very Pissed off...

 

And Sean O. has been truly amazing running this board (Growing so huge it is!) always fair and wise and helping us be at our best -

My own Taoist teacher, who shall remain unnamed at this point,says that authentic non religious Taoists generally avoid killing animals unless absolutely necessary....say for food or if threatened by that animal.

Whilst Taoist generally have no restrictions about eating meat, high level practioners tend to be vegetarians as it makes the Internal Alchemy cultivation easier.

Needless to say, ALL Buddhist will avoid eating meat if they are to comply with Buddhist dogma about not taking any sentient life.

 

So if Mr. Verdeshi's "esoteric interpretation of Taoism" involves killing a bull...I would like to know why, and which branch of Taoism advocates that ?

Is it Maoshan ?

What administration? the Freakin' GWB -sure -That administration deserves severe admonishment !!!but Sean has a right to express himself here as much (if not more) as anyone...

 

I sense that the revival of some of these issues is done by supporters of DSV at this point...(maybe not you Nutting but why belabor the points we have shared already)?

 

I will at some point always jump in to say I think the manner in which he has been touted here makes me want to puke. Shilling is a great art in many cultures for many items and isms...I am a capitalist with socialist leanings ...I can respect salesmanship, when it is honest... but- I smell hucksterism in everything I have seen /heard about DSV -even as I wish it were not so...

 

But please do not mistake Sean's personal attitudes with his administrative duties -

 

In this community he has earned great respect. Far more than DSV -because many here do not value the glitz/hype presented to us with arrogant protagonists promoting "feats & powers" as a commodity...

But it doesn't seem to bother folks breath & body odor-wise...

By the way, does anyone know about a nasty plant found in the jungle of Costa Rica - that would leave a burning acid when brushed up against...that needed to be pissed on right away or it becomes horribly painful -enough so tht demure hikers were known to ask with some vehimence for anyone to piss on them... I never encountered this plant myself but there were many stories...

 

So pissing away bad flaura/fauna has some other instances .
