mat black Posted December 18, 2007 This sutra is on the same site as the one that has the scripture of forty nine chapters. but because of it's pertinence to daily practice, i think it's maybe worthy of it's own thread Please enjoy The Spiritual Treasure Of Concentration and Contemplation Sutra http://hk.geocities.com/akrishi0/taoism/setwatch.htm
林愛偉 Posted December 18, 2007 (edited) This sutra is on the same site as the one that has the scripture of forty nine chapters. but because of it's pertinence to daily practice, i think it's maybe worthy of it's own thread Please enjoy The Spiritual Treasure Of Concentration and Contemplation Sutra http://hk.geocities.com/akrishi0/taoism/setwatch.htm It is great! Only thing is the translation needs a bit of work, for there are some things that don't mix well with the cultivation they are explaining in that Sutra. It just seems there to be a slight contradiction in mental posture. For instance it speaking to not hold onto thoughts and the like, but then mentioning to get lost in them...not really advisable. Anywho... Soon , if I have the time, I'll work on a re-translation and or wording of it.. haha Peace and Blessings, Lin Edited December 18, 2007 by 林愛偉
