What politicians call "capitalism" is almost always something more akin to Mussolini-style corporatism than to the natural exchange people adopt when not herded into an "ism." On his way to the market he walked by a property and heard someone calling out. "help" He walked down the path to the home where he found a family, dreadfully thin due to starvation. The eldest man said his crops were destroyed and they were trying to make it longer but were starving to death. The man with the grain looked around. " perhaps you should have protected your fields a little better." shrugs and heads off to market with his grain. There is enough food right now on this planet that no one should be starving, but a lack of empathy (sociopath) demands that the starving people be allowed to starve and will rationalize by any mean necessary that there way is a good way. Or you could look at story number 2 as a totalitarian dictator. The problem with the world is too many people who are story number one. Thus we all should accept this, and by extension accept that one is in reality a Communist in all the implied negative connotations. Where there's a strong social net in place and a capitalist market place, but that's just me. Not without problems, but I think it leads to happier, healthier, free-er people. The good thing is this doesn't have to be an intellectual argument, you can vote with your feet! When the disparity of wealth and income reach the current level, is seems reasonable to seek redress.
