Which Country best hits the Sweet Spot

I find the sweet spot to be European style socialism.  Where there's a strong social net in place and a capitalist market place, but that's just me.  Not without problems, but I think it leads to happier, healthier, free-er people.

 

Let's give "European style socialism" another decade or two and see how it turns out...

 

Maybe a less coddled European style socialism.  Which brings up the Question-

 

Which European country (any really) is/was the best as far as lifestyle, freedom and sustainability? and Why?
