Very Strange Occurance on this forum, Need mods help

Hello all,

This is not a prank but I respect your beliefs so believe what you will. I am asking help from the mods on this one to see if they can help me figure this one out.

If you look there is a post from March 5th 2017 where I am introducing myself as a new member. This wasn't me! I know for fact I was not on these forums on that day writing. I am trying to find out if the mods can pull an IP address for any similarities to my current IP address.

I just discovered the post from 3/5/17 today. I came to these forums but I forgot my user name and did a password recovery to my email address and I signed in to make my "first" post http://www.thedaobums.com/topic/43834-any-benefit-of-holding-tongue-to-roof-of-mouth-passively/

 

Then in my notifications pane  I see my first post was actually on 3/5/17. Its almost as if the universe knew I was going to take on this path. I know I am not crazy. Any help would be appreciated. This seems too paranormal to me.

The IP and email addresses are an exact match, and both trace back exclusively to username shaq420 for posts on March 5 and today.

 

Had to be you or someone in your house using your computer and email address.

That's a likely scenario, but mistaken that it's the only way it could happen.

I'm not sure about this but perhaps it has something to do regarding the day you registered and then made your "Welcome" post on a later date.  Your registration date was the date you became a member but you couldn't post until after making a post in "Welcome" and then being "Approved".  In most cases the dates will be different.
