Brown teeth and Bluebirds

My friend’s nine year old daughter told me my teeth were brown.

“Yes, they are.” I replied.

 

Then she told me about the bluebirds living in her yard.

That's okay.  So you have brown teeth.  I accept that as being part of who/what you are.  I have no teeth.  All gone many years ago.  Needless to say, I don't chew gum.

Well, I didn't have that advantage so I just had to tell them that I had nothing for them and they had nothing for me.

I've been working out in the front yard/gardens this morning and while I didn't see any bluebirds I did see some butterflies.
