I have always found it odd that one will find something so offensive, yet they quote it.

Many have said that the western Mo Pai students have not cultivated any demonstrable superpowers, but that`s just not true.  There`s no way I could say only a few phrases -- "we are only interested in objective scientific proof" and "I have nothing further to say to you" -- and keep Bums engaged and entertained for 27 pages.

There seems to still be a problem here.  Mr. Coffee quoted my post in his PPF but made the comment in question much bigger and bolder than what I wrote, which was in normal print.  This is a misrepresentation of the truth and unethical, also, doing it in a place where I can't clarify and make the comment I just did here is also a form of cowardice.  Even just having that kind of a thread, where by the title he indicates putting down Taobums, and on the Taobum forum, is odd.  Keeping track of perceived offenses like that reminds me of my daughter when she was a little girl and had learned to be a whiney brat in school.  A lot of us here seem to offend each other once in a while but to be keeping track of it and copying it to a 'safe' place is something extrordinary.

 

Another thing, deleting the line in question on this thread but leaving it in your PPF is an additional form of unethical behavior.  Don't get me wrong, it doesn't bother me a bit, it is just saying something about you and More Pie.

Moderation logs show the thread was unlocked when I posted. The logs do not lie. There is no case of trolling to be made when you quote, reply to one by name and they respond. You will need to build a stronger case for trolling. 

 

As for anger, I think you might have your wires crossed. There is no anger on my part, curiosity about your motives on TDB, yes, anger no.

I agree, it's amazing, but really in this instance it's more like a Piñata than a super hero

 

I think the community needs their scape goat, something to tie up and beat like a dog, and I guess we fit that bill quite well.

The few members of our forum that have an account here have to keep their mouths shut, or they will wind up like me.   They just have to grin and bear it, as do I.  

 

There are others like us who want to connect with us.   I wish you could realize how incredibly alone it is Luke to have this vast Internet but be unable to speak freely and openly about who you are and what you are about without this sort of nonsense happening, in any community.  

 

We had to create a private forum just so we could breathe.

I think you misunderstand,  we can speak in public, but this happens so we are very limited.

 

For whatever reason talking about the way we see the world, what seems reasonable and rational to us,  is like going to a fish tank and dumping in 10kg of pure sodium metal.  

 

We just have to deal with and contain it as best we can, or keep our mouths shut.

I`ll admit to having a bit of posting fun at your expense, so if your experience on the board truly has been painful I plead guilty.  As someone who knows what it`s like to be frustrated, I hope that you can empathize with the frustration of the Bums here who honestly would like to have a reasonable conversation with you and find the way impossibly blocked.  

 

You see, you really could talk more about Mo Pai.  You won`t but you could.  The world would not come crashing down, honest to God.  Maybe some people would criticize what you say or not believe it or whatever, but so what.  Do you imagine that everyone here agrees with what I have to say?  I can tell you for a fact that they don`t.  One member considered my views on Islam criminal and said that he thought I should be imprisoned for 25 years.  And yet here I am, still a free man, posting away to the delight of some and the chagrin of others, and only slightly the worse for wear.
