Pietro Posted January 9, 2008 The very fact that the language even exists to explain this phenomena should be enough. ... A human weighs whatever it weighs, has lungs and can fly. Â The lungs are the wings in-turned. ... Benny, we are trying to defy gravity here. Not reason.
doc benway Posted January 9, 2008 According to Newtonian physics perhaps, but not according to quantum physics. Things are not always so black and white. It's important to remember, however, that Newtonian physics (and relativity) do a much better job of describing physical behavior at the macroscopic level, whereas quantum physics is better at describing behavior only at the atomic and subatomic level. Jakara Posted January 9, 2008 (edited) According to Newtonian physics perhaps, but not according to quantum physics. Things are not always so black and white. Which part of Quantum Physics would that be? Â The lungs are the wings in-turned. Â I'd like to gather as much information as possible. Â Point of reference has a lot to do with it, as does physics in general. Â The moon has a lot to do with it. Are you on drugs? :-) Edited January 9, 2008 by Jakara

thelerner Posted January 9, 2008 I wonder how this conversation would play out if the Shaman had instead said he was an Immortal(no floating), born a few hundred years ago. Would we follow the same lines of thought? Â I think we would. Â Â Â Michael
