The article remarks how they had some similar things ( although it mostly shows differences )   and gives a horse snaffle as example and states that both places had it yet there was no contact between Egypt and China . 

 

Of course there was , and it was way before Egyptians ever had horses .   Afghanistan  trade  had contact with Egypt evidenced by Egypt using Afghanistan lapis lazuli at an early stage .  And Afghanistan had contact with China .
