Personality is found when one attaches conceptions to a flow. Often even cause and effect viewed from a (ego) perspective is seen as a personality. Here is a pretty good description from the Tao Te Ching to answer your question...

Alone and constant, ever present and flowing.

It is the Mother of the Ten Thousand Things.

I do not know its name, so I call it Dao. For lack of a better word I call it great.

but when you use like you need to bring your man(body parts like you said) into dao, you are fwrong. So waht i previosuly said it is heaven is head, torso is earth makes more sense..

No ego theory, just conscious and subconscious aspects of mind. Ego would relate to local body mind autopilot like responses.

 

What is "darkness" to you?

I have never suggested dropping ego.  But I have said many times that our ego should reflect reality.

 

In the state of wu we can access both the light and the darkness.  Again, awareness.

darkness? When i don't see anything, so i will use that non-attachment as a object of contemplation. Even in a daylight when sun is up, is you can cultivate darkness. Till i see the light.

 

That light is manifested as a wai fu. Then i know what to follow and be true.

Got it. So for you darkness is when you close your eyes. Sorry, I had thought you may have meant something more of the term.

nope, the eyes look is after when you get caught doing bad. When you get caught then you realize that you don't have an object anymore, because you know that it is taken away from you. That empty feeling "for an example" is darkness.

Doing bad? Getting caught? These are all emotional states driven by subconscious fears. Also, if you are worried/notice that something was taken from you, then by definition you are not "empty".

you can show your mastery and do that same thing with your mind. Whatever you do, you can immediately do a mind version of it.

I have no karma.  It was destroyed long time ago.  And I know more than you would like me to know when I am speaking with you.

 

I can do a mind version of something and then do the physical thing.  I can do a physical thing and then reflect back upon what I have done.

 

I can even walk and chew gum at the same time.
