Some other perspectives would be within persons interest. Edited July 22, 2017 by Ereouixoue
Ereouixoue Posted July 22, 2017 (edited) Can one know true darkness without death? Like.. the death of a friend. Edited July 22, 2017 by Ereouixoue
thursday Posted July 22, 2017 Crying has often been a good kind of release for me.. The truth can often hurt. Crying helps come to terms with how things are.. It's a certain amount of death, reminding me to work on kindness and humility, well, gives me the space to make it come more naturally for me.. Things then might not be as bad as they seemed before.
Marblehead Posted July 22, 2017 It's okay to cry. It will mess up your makeup though. Yes, crying is a release. Tears of sadness but also tears of joy. Sure, death of a friend, parent, etc brings us sadness. Cry if that is the natural thing to do. (But no pretend tears.) Death is just the completion of a cycle. Totally natural. Again, Buddhism helps here with the concept of attachment. Nothing is permanent.

They can produce tears any time they want if they think it will help them get what they want.
Ereouixoue Posted July 22, 2017 I read a short book about it once by Melidoma Some. It is an interesting topic and well to know. There is continual loss in this world..
cold Posted July 22, 2017 I would suggest death is the end of crying. 6 minutes ago, Ereouixoue said: There is continual loss in this world.. Some we are aware of. Much we are not. Some with great and lasting significance, others not so much.

If you meditate whilst crying, you'll probably find you won't cry as much in the long-term.
