Post that online test in a new thread -- it might be fun!

Here we go:

I did it some month ago and what I remember:

1. St. Augustine of Hippo

2. Kant

...

10. Nietzsche :P

"Faith is to believe what you do not see; the reward of this faith is to see what you believe."

Saint Augustine

"Men go abroad to wonder at the heights of mountains, at the huge waves of the sea, at the long courses of the rivers, at the vast compass of the ocean, at the circular motions of the stars, and they pass by themselves without wondering."

Saint Augustine

:)

My results indicated #1 is Hume and Nietzsche is #7

PS  It indicated that Kant is #2 but I would never accept that.  I place him at #1,000,000,000,000

I found the "importance" slider didn't work on my mobile device (would jump to the lowest and stay there) so my results are probably skewed.  I may do it again on a real computer but my initial results are:

1. Augustine

2. Aquinas

.

.

.

9. Nietzsche (0%)

I got Empedocles but i had high importance on hexameter verse.

Apparently no Buddhists have taken the poll, I haven't seen Schopenhauer on anyone's list.

or Rousseau, Voltaire, Descartes, nor any  French or any Huxleys.

and no Hegel. good grief

Interesting. I would've probably put someone such as Zhuang Zhou/Zhuangzi as number one. Also, I have no idea who Sextus Empiricus is lol.

See other people's top results.

I am not sure if the people on the yellow list are actual philosophers.

I was surprised to see that I was absent from the list.
