thelerner Posted October 4, 2017 Wisdom: when you can't sleep, meditate Cooking: add a splash of vinegar at the end of soups, particularly beans soups, adds dimension. Meditating: you don't have to be still, a little movement/bobbing can be uniquely helpful.

Lost in Translation Posted October 4, 2017 You can't get rid of the waves on a pond by throwing rocks at them.
Brian Posted October 4, 2017 (edited) 23 minutes ago, Lost in Translation said: You can't get rid of the waves on a pond by throwing rocks at them. Depends on how big the rock is...   If your shoe laces are always coming untied, start by crossing the laces the other way at the very beginning. If, for instance, you normally cross left over right before making loops, cross right over left instead -- and then do everything else the same as you normally do.  You can tell at a glance whose laces perpetually come untied. Freaks people out if you walk up to them and tell them you can help them with this little problem. Edited October 4, 2017 by Brian
Stosh Posted October 4, 2017 (edited) The wing-bars on phoebes and pewees is smudgy and blurred , whereas on the flycatchers, like Acadian and Yellow-bellied ,they are crisp , along that upper margin. ( same goes for pine warbler, as opposed to bay-breasted. ) Edited October 4, 2017 by Stosh
