Wu Ming Jen Posted November 12, 2017 There are lots of schools you can pick one and also move to another if you wish. I prefer being on the mountain so the Taoist Kung Fu academy next to purple heaven palace works for me, Once enrolled you can get passes from the office to explore at no cost. If you wish to be close to town there are schools there you can take the busses up. The schedule is 7hrs a day training 1/2 day on wednesday and thursdays off a great day to explore. To apply for visa contact school for invitation first visa is for 3 months. Stay in contact with the school to make arrangements for someone to meet you when you arrive in China. Plan 6 months in advance a get things solid before you book a flight then pass this information to the school. You could also choose a guided tour departing from the country you live in. You can PM me for details if you have a specific plan in mind.
thelerner Posted December 11, 2017 (edited) Glad your here. We have a couple members with solid information on China, like Wu Ming Jen. I am not one of them, but once you settle in here. I'd love to hear stories of how your travels and time in China was. Edited December 11, 2017 by thelerner

Another place that may interest you is Wudang Five Immortals Temple . It is small, with students from many different countries.
