Google maps is full of anomalies, so it isnt a good reference for 'finding things ' of mystery and intrigue ( real things, that is ) . If you look at the ocean floor off the east coast of Australia there is a network of 'undersea roads' ... not really, its just the path of ships scanning the sea floor and the greater detail stands out against the background blur. Google maps are patched together from images taken at different times ... for many reasons , one is to eliminate the clouds.
