Longtimepractioner Posted March 22, 2018 I have been studying Tai Chi Chuan for 45 years (since 1973), and I have always practiced at least an hour a day, but usually 2 or more hours a day. For the first 20 years, I studied Yang stye, learning the forms and auxiliary training of several masters. I have been studying Chen style for over 25 years. I have also met many so-called "masters" and other people who claim to have special knowledge but should not be teaching. I have found that the majority of people know little, if anything at all. about the true nature of the Internal arts. But I have also met a small number of true masters along the way, though they are few and far between 5
Marblehead Posted March 22, 2018 Hello, Longtimepractioner and welcome. Your membership is approved and we're happy you found your way to us. We look forward to accompanying you on some of the way that you still have to go. Please take the time to read the post pinned at the top of this Welcome page and take a look at the forum Terms and Rules. This covers all you need to know when getting started. For the first week you will be restricted to ten posts per day but after that you can post as much as you like. Also, until you’ve posted fifteen times in the forums, you’ll be a “Junior Bum” with somewhat restricted access and will be allowed only two private messages per day. Good luck in your pursuits and best wishes to you, Marblehead and the TDB team Hi Longtime, Yes, 45 years is a long time. My compliments. I hope you will be able to share some of your experiences with us. You are welcome to jump right in ongoing discussions, revive an older thread, start a new thread of your own, or start a discussion in the "Newcomer Corner" sub-forms to expand on your introduction or ask general questions to help you get started. May you enjoy your time here. Marblehead

Thanks.

Yes (c) Or how did you tell? Through real time experiences - moment to moment in the domain of trust and faith. - LimA

I met only one true master - and I am also very lucky. Why? I only need one. - LimA

I am also very much interested in your stories and experiences, especially with true masters. I am looking forward to it if you like to tell more about it, maybe in a new thread. Thanks and greetings, Julian

But (s)he will be the first to know and learn from his/her own mistakes. Also some true masters keep very very low profiles bordering on being a 'nobody'. We are brought to a true master because of 'destiny'? -LimA
