MooNiNite Posted April 13, 2018 I was speaking with a Daoist and one of the things I noticed was that he didn't share the idea that my parents were different people than me. I'm sure i have a misconception of what he meant but he doesn't see them as separate like normal people do. Is this a common theme in Daoism? Any sources? Saying there is a connection isn't very specific, even westerners would say there is a connection.
