andrew1139 Posted June 27, 2018 I'm about to get this book and I really want other's opinion about the information inside. How truthfull is it. Does it correspond with other books about similar teachings?
Cheshire Cat Posted June 28, 2018 Do you want to hear about the wonders of that book or the phallacies of its philosophy?
zerostao Posted June 28, 2018 Since you asked for an opinion, mine is if it does work and it could but I doubt it works in one (or several) lifetimes. There will be bums come here and sing its praises, its their opinion as well because none of them have achieved what that book (claims to) offer. The opinion is free, take it fwiw

andrew1139 Posted June 29, 2018 I started to understand the book better, but I have a question for someone who read it: what is the "inner fire" that continously appears in it? At the glossary it appears to be talking about some processes for the transmutation, but from what i saw until now, it is a force/energy in the body. Any ideas? I guess, while it may be a good book, I at least need some background in internal alchemy to understand it better. So...any book that is good for a starter like me in this subject? The book is actually based on a 1615 book - and so when I discovered this - it helped clarify the Taoist Yoga book. http://elixirfield.blogspot.com/2018/06/is-taoist-yoga-book-incomplete.html I blogged on this yesterday - the link I give then discusses the context and background of the Taoist Yoga book.... http://qianfengdaoismuk.weebly.com/ So this is the direct lineage of that book Taoist Yoga. http://neidanromania.proboards.com/thread/236 The 1615 book translated. http://qianfengdaoismuk.weebly.com/how-the-xingming-gui-zhi-influenced-zhao-bichenrsquos-manual.html Quote And so here is the discussion of how that 1615 book was the basis for the later book. However, a close and careful reading of both manuals suggests that the latter was influenced by the former. Zhao Bichen’s manual has become a highly influential text in its own right, but it shares many common features with the Xingming Gui Zhi. So one was written in 1933, aka Taoist Yoga: Alchemy and Immortality and the other was written in Yin Zhenren #|H)\. 1615. Xingming gui zhi sã fisłH (Leading to the Core of Life). Quote Black Lead—the Water Tiger—is the root of the emission and development of Heaven and Earth. Only then is there substance (zhi ) and qi. Red Lead—the Fire Dragon—is the foundation of the emission and development of Heaven and Earth. Only then is there qi and no substance. .............................................. The whitesoul [hun] is produced in the Wood [i.e., the liver]; the cloudsoul [po] is born in Metal [i.e., the lungs]. One qi initially differentiates then is ordered as the Two Polarities.
