Mystical objects

Throughout history certain objects have exists which were supposed to possess magical powers. The examples include the holy grail, the chintamani stone etc. if you know of any rare ones ( with unknown stories) put them here.

The oldest rock.

 

An Australian Aboriginal story ; it goes through all sorts of stages and adventures ... basically its an 'epic journey of individuation' .

 

This guy has a vision or calling to find the oldest rock, its a remanent from the first creation.  At the end, he finally finds the people that are the guardian of it. They tell him it is out on a rock shelf just above high tide zone.   he wants to know which one it is, they tell him  'he will know'.  He does as it speaks to him . But its just this tiny little stone, so he takes it back to those people.

 

'What the big deal? its just a little pebble ? '

 

"Well, its   so old  ... it got   all wore down . "

But it is true that the oldest rocks on the planet that have not been transformed are in Australia.  I forget the details But they have been dated and classified by geologists.

hmm... I wonder... does a longer period of time in one form increase spiritual presence or potency?

 

What is the spiritual essence, or quality of a new form compared with an ancient one?

Yep,  In a couple of Aussie cratons

4.375 billion years old ..

 

It is interesting to compare that date and see what else was happening at that time .

 

eg;  " the Moon formed out of the debris left over from a collision between Earth and an astronomical body the size of Mars, approximately 4.5 billion years ago. "
