Mantra68 Posted February 8, 2008 Well this has been my questions mostly all along but i dont want to get into this all again. As long as people are getting results thats most important! Max is here now so I am asking him directly about this. These are his answers: From Max's teacher, Mao Shan Grand Master, Andrew Lum, when you do Red Phoenix levels 1-3 to completion, levitation is one of the effects and it only happens once and then dissipates. It is not considered by the Mao Shan as a permanent siddha but just a sign the you have connected with the law that governs Tao. In Kunlun Max's sister Jenny Lamb says that if you master Kunlun level two levitation is one of the effects. Levitation in the Taoist tradition means that you have mastered the wind element. It is when you have connected the middle and upper dan tiens. This where the wind power attainments come from. As a siddha the Mao Shan consider levitation a low attainment. Once one learns the higher things, lesser attainments like levitation disappear.
Pero Posted February 8, 2008 This is a valid question imo as it so clearly sais just this on their homepage. Why is it met as if the guy is trying to ridicule kunlun practioners? It's the delivery.
Procurator Posted February 8, 2008 Since the page gives the impression that level 1 doesn't take long, we should be seeing many levitations and light manifestations by now? :-) its called bait and switch tactic.
Wun Yuen Gong Posted February 8, 2008 Hi Mantra, Please thank Max for the insight i do have another question for him since he mentioned wind path and connecting the upper and middle dan tian. Does that mean that fire path is the Tummo and water is ???? Cause usually in daoist meditation and chi kung they use 3 paths wind, fire and water and water being the hardest? So Kunlun 1 and 2 depending on the person and the energy cultivated the person will levitate is that with thought or in emptyness? Has Jenny and Max has obviously levitated if so can they share what it was like, feeling, sensations anything would be great? Mantra thankyou for thinking of putting this information on the forum cause these are some of the questions and answers ive been wanting know. This Kun Lun system is from Mao Shan sect does KunLun mountain have a sect that teach this non related to Mao Shan sect of Maxs teacher? many thanks WYG
minkus Posted February 8, 2008 As a siddha the Mao Shan consider levitation a low attainment. Once one learns the higher things, lesser attainments like levitation disappear. This makes me curious after wich is a high attainment is it healing based ? Mantra you told me Red Phoenix is being thaught in the workshop, is this all 3 levels or level 1 ? Thanx in advance
Wun Yuen Gong Posted February 9, 2008 Minkus, For my understanding Red Phoenix isnt part of Kunlun but added at the seminars! Levels 1 is seated, 2 standing holding breath, 3 seated waterfall meditation. regards WYG
voidisyinyang Posted February 9, 2008 (edited) Here's the kicker on Kunlun: "especially for the few pages that contain the kunlun posture that will take you about 10 seconds to learn." If this is true, as claimed by the link TRUNK provides (comparing Kunlun to the microcosmic orbit) then why will no one actually just describe the basic KUNLUN posture? If it's so amazing why not SHARE THE LOVE? haha. I've spent probably a couple hours trying to find something that supposedly takes 10 seconds to learn! All I've gotten is vague descriptions of gyrating your trunk will standing, having Max's magnetic field threw you around so you stick to fences, feeling various blissful tingling sensations in your body, etc. Still -- this AMAZING posture that takes 10 seconds to learn !!! -- remains... shall we say ... unacceptable to the internet -- a supposed utopia of free information exchange. Or shall we just prove the reality of a nice marketing gimmick, once again.... Edited February 9, 2008 by drew hempel
Wun Yuen Gong Posted February 9, 2008 Ive said the posture for level 1 many times, seated hold the ball posture right hand on top of left, raise the heels off the floor. Many Chi kung has holding ball, the activation is the heels raised, ive also seen this with the toes raised and both feet off the ground. So there is varitations to doing seated meditation! Buddy Posted February 9, 2008 "As a siddha the Mao Shan consider levitation a low attainment. Once one learns the higher things, lesser attainments like levitation disappear." Wow. This is pretty convenient. So, either everyone of you Kunluns are: A. Not there yet, or B. Beyond it? Isn't there anyone in between who could post a brief vid? You wouldn't need to tell how it's done, I get the secrets till you've paid for it stuff. I'm cool with that. I just want to see what I might to pay so much money for. I'd be happy to right a check for twice the amount if I could just get a glimpse. I could even post date the check and send it tomorrow. Just tell me when it will occur. SiliconValley Posted February 9, 2008 (edited) As a siddha the Mao Shan consider levitation a low attainment. Once one learns the higher things, lesser attainments like levitation disappear. A small correction related to usage of the word. 'Siddhi' means attainment and 'Siddha' is the one who has attained or accomplished. Wun Yuen Gong Posted February 9, 2008 So most people that have started level 2 must have be able to levitate to move on?
Mal Posted February 9, 2008 hahahahhahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahhahhahahhahahahahahhaa It's all good, seriously Drew I think you would enjoy Kunlun, once you can activate the energy (you probably do that already) you can do it in full lotus. The secret stuff is a bit annoying, but at least the book is cheap and available.

voidisyinyang Posted February 10, 2008 OK when I was at a Level 4 retreat qigong master Chunyi Lin stated that the leader of Falun Gong claimed he could levitate but when asked by his followers to do so he wasn't able to.... Qigong master Chunyi Lin stated that he indeed levitated 9 feet up, spiraling, when in full-lotus -- but only after very deep mountain meditation. I don't know -- I mean my friend was in Beijing last November and he was really impressed by the martial arts acrobat show for tourists -- lots of levitation (by wires of course). haha. Wun Yuen Gong Posted February 10, 2008 Maybe useless but if you can do that then that is a skill and hardly can be attained if any!!

Yoda Posted February 10, 2008 I used to be in love with the idea of super human ability. I dreamed of it constantly. Now all i want is to lose everything....Nothing I knew before mattered. I feel her. I know this truth The siddhis of having good friends, a loving family, a comfortable lifestyle, a career you enjoy, etc aren't exactly chump change. But having said that, it is very true... seek ye first the Kingdom of Heaven. To the extent that one can do that, the happier one can be in the fickle Siddhi City.
