To find a solution to world demographic problem ( growth in population from 2b in 50s 20c to
8b in 20s 21c ).
The algorithm was sensitive to
The  FACT that , THE MORE MODERN HUMAN ARE THE LESS
OFFSPRING'S THY HAVE .
and MOST OF HUMAN POPULATION GROWTH IN THE LAST
70Y WAS IN ASIA ,AFRICA ,
SOUTH AMERICA.
THE Ai  SOLUTION WAS
SHORT RANGE MISSILES (LONG RANGE WILL HIT THE WEST ) WITH
NUKE HEAD ,DISTRIBUTED TO ALL IN CHARGE
IN THE SOUTH OF THE WORLD.
AND AS A PRECAUTION TO STOP IMMIGRATION TO THE WEST.
 AI  SUPERCOMPUTER.

No, you cannot from such a small mind understand the world in a book. You can hardly even understand yourself. Relax. The planet is just going through a natural balancing. You do not have the power to detonate one nuclear missile let alone destroy all life. Unless you are playing call of duty.

I'll be a little Pollyanna-ish here.  As you acknowledge the answers are education and opportunity.  Countries got'em tend to be population neutral.  Most successful countries have steady or negative birth rates.  With computers, investment and will, there could be a new revolution in education globally.   There are $50 tablets and with free wiifi they are resources to go from kindergarten to expert anything.  Its a potential that's largely unrealized, but its waiting.   Digital gold.. waiting for a spark to create an educational renaissance.  We can take these time wasting devices beyond porn and philosophy forums.  <not me personally but it's theoretically possible>

 

I was going to write propertyabove but you guys have a point, Western style prosperity is wasteful, polluting and not possible on a global scale.  But odds are other sustainable models can be made.  The time will come when waste is a luxury we can't afford.  Economics will force us to find sustainable ways.  The West has relative freebies now, when they get expensive, hopefully we'll get smarter and find ways that consider long term impacts.    

 

We've ended much disease and cut the poverty rate hugely in the last 25 years, beyond the experts expectations, we just don't recognize that great accomplishment though.  Human engineering can clean up the air and seas, if we put our minds to it.  The human race is no slouch, we're smart and adaptable but planet earth is way older bigger and a champion recycler. 

 

If we make mistakes, the Earth will easily outlast us;  as long as the air and water hold out our planet will keep being a laboratory for all kinds of life.

I am sure there are already technologies avaialble to clean both the air and seas.  Bottom line is that those things will destroy the oil business which means less money for those elite greedy few at the top.  Hence I believe it starts with each person finding and feeling happiness in their lives.  When we are happy greed is not necessary.  

 

The war and conflicts that rages in the world will end.  But the war inside a human being, can go on for their whole life and not be resolved.  Unresolved human beings are the biggest cause of the worlds problems, regardless of population.
