Adam West Posted February 9, 2008 Eight Steps of the Silk Brocades Preparatory work for Taoist Silent Sitting Practice  i wanted to add a word document with information on this practice - but it did not allow me........  sorry about that..........  dao zhen  Perhaps consider copy-pasting the text of the word document straight into a post?  In kind regards,  Adam. dao zhen Posted February 9, 2008 Thank you for your letter. Â The text is fine, but the document also includes pictures for the practice that were scaned from an old text. Â Without the pictures, it is hard to understand the practice. Â I think there must be a limit to what we upload in document format. Â I will work hard to put many word documents for members to view... if there is a way I can upload more than one word document. Â I think such documents can be an aid for proper practice for those interested in the Pursuit of Tao. Â With my best regards. Â Sincerely, dao zhen
gendao Posted February 10, 2008 You could zip the file and try again here. Â Or upload it to a hosting site and post the link here.
Adam West Posted February 10, 2008 You could zip the file and try again here. Â Or upload it to a hosting site and post the link here. Â Yes the hosting idea and posting the link is a great one! That may be the way to go! Â Here is another great hosting site I have used several times in the past. Â http://www.mediafire.com/ Â In kind regards, Â Adam. dao zhen Posted February 10, 2008 I posted the document without the pictures......... Â It can help one lay a good foundation in practice if followed daily. Â Sending all my best. Â If it would be interesting, we should start a page where we can all discuss practice, and answer each others questions. Â It may help us all grow, and understand the proper course to take in practice. Â Sincerely, dao zhen

freesun Posted February 13, 2008 (edited) I just noticed that these instructions can also be found at Dao Zhen's website with the advantage of providing a few diagrams showing the different positions which i found very helpful.
