whitesilk Posted February 24, 2019 As a devout Christian, I am comfortable saying and writing the phrase, "Praise Amida Buddha." To me it comes down to the ideological differences between the terms praise and worship. The main one being that worship involves the idea of devotion, praise does not. I Worship Jesus Christ, therefore am devoted to him. I have knowledge of other deities that I believe are good, so I Praise them. Does this delineation help others? Am I being too minute in my faith? Should I just loosen up? My own initial answer is no, I have one life to lead, best for me to do it right.
