dawei Posted October 25, 2019 HongJun Laozu can be read about here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hongjun_Laozu Hongjun Laozu was the monk who is told about in the myth of Chinese New Year. He was the person who captured Nian, the great beast that terrorised the people of China every Chinese New Year. HongJun is used in a idiom as: 先有鸿钧后有天: First there was nature and then there was heaven. To suggest Hongjun existed prior to heaven. SanQing is the Three Pure Ones, here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three_Pure_Ones Lu Ya Dao Zun - ? A link to this name would be helpful Nuwa - Sister to Fuxi. known for creating humans and mending the sky. Hundun Zushi - seems to mean, founding master of chaos. 1
