A poem

Recommended Posts

In the space between dreaming and waking this morning, part of a poem I had read a long time ago, which had lodged itself in my subconscious, came back to me. It just kept repeating over and over, and each time seemed to be imbued with a deeper meaning. Think you guys might appreciate it:

On either shore the gibbons' chatter
sounded without pause
While my light boat skimmed past
ten thousand sombre crags.

- Li Po

Any old Chinese poems that speak of cultivation that stuck out for you guys?

I love Li Po.

Hi Rara,

These lines...

On either shore the gibbons' chatter
sounded without pause
While my light boat skimmed past
ten thousand sombre crags.

... have reminded me of the opening lines of Desiderata...

A great weekend.
