I was so uptight before and felt masturbation was bad myself until I discovered that things are more complex than they seem. I think what's important is we get to express our sexuality in a healthy, balanced way. Personally, I feel It's best to explore these things with a partner but can understand how it will be difficult if one is alone. Hence, masturbating. I think it would be good to discuss this with a teacher. If too much masturbating is not good, then how can one manage their sexual urges? For me, what's important is to look for practices that can help.

 

I'll try to look for the article I read but just to say, I remember reading somewhere that successful people, usually experience orgasm more frequently. It's our creative life force, our sexuality!

Here's a lovely example: someone claims to be a doctor of psychology in her website. Check it out--she went to Beurin University. Look it up--the school is a for-profit place. Check out accreditation--it claims to be accredited, but the accrediting body is not an officially recognized institution, it's a private group owned by the same person who founded Beurin University--he essentially accredited his own school.

 

This is all from basic fact searching, without even looking at the content of their coursework and the people who work there. In all seriousness, I know people in the industry and it is a "job" for them too: meaning it requires hard work (no pun intended) and has the same issues of politics, HR being crazy, some cool and some uncool colleagues, and some enjoyment. Racism still exists too (try asking people who don't belong to the normal racial preference; e.g. Asian men or black women) about how much they earn.
