GSmaster Posted March 22, 2020 (edited) There was discussion about end goals of various cultivation systems, in most cases it boils down to immortality. Quote The point of Mo Pai never was physical immortality. Even Bodhidharma, and Chang Sen Fang who are said to have reached level 72 also grew old and died. (c) Megamind Quote It requires actual skill and training to be able to full exteriorize your energies from physical body. You need decades of training to be able to be fully aware outside of your physical body and be able to freely move and levitate there. You need to have talent to be able to move from out of body physical border plane, to real planes that are full with energy sources and sentient beings. Making portals by entering location of a particular spiritual plane and invading high level planes is something far beyond anything JC has shown in his trivial vids. This is the "path of non-physical immortality". In the most direct way, as you exist without physical body. (c) Gsmaster As for myself, I have confidence that at the very least if the death comes to the physical vessel, I will be able to have full control in the energy body, to move to the one of the spiritual planes, locate proper energy sources and keep going for few decades or even centuries before a necessity comes for another reincarnation. GSmaster Posted March 24, 2020 So for physical immortality, it is essential, that it has to start with the halt to the aging process. We are all aging. Apparently even the DNA of the body itself has limits for multiplication, when DNA code gets worn off, there are errors in cell multiplication process and the body starts to fall apart and die quite literally. Not aging = Somewhat physically immortal. Even if you can be killed by external causes, in positive conditions you could live hundreds or even thousands years.

Before proving whether physical immortality is possible or not, people need to try stopping and reversing the aging process ; if people can't reverse aging , then it is senseless to talk about physical immortality . Fortunately , to prove whether aging process can be reversed or not is not that complicated and only takes you few weeks time , say , you indulge yourself few weeks in overnight wine drinking, sex , online games..etc , then you get a withered face with some wrinkles .., then you try using Taoist way to reverse it..; so the success or not of that reversing method can only cheat you few weeks not long ; besides, the proof of whether physical-immortality feasible is more reliable than those spiritual-enlightenment ways as you can see its effects easily , hardly will it waste you years of time , even a whole lifetime . A very long life span also grants you enough time and energy to explore the spiritual arena , the secret of the universe and complicated issues like time, dimensions, gravity , AI ..etc, which are all related ; the so-called Meng first, Xing later principle is really more significant for most people .
