old3bob Posted April 4, 2020 (edited) a website with a lot of info on MRE's (meal ready to eat) including a date finder/converter to let you know when your MRE was made. (for shelf life, and why these products are not also stamped with a regular date besides the mumbo jumbo codes for the factory is beyond me) https://www.mreinfo.com/ Edited April 6, 2020 by old3bob
old3bob Posted April 6, 2020 after going through the advice given on MRE's at the site listed above I carefully inspected, (and threw out some) then very well cooked and ate some rather old ones ...anyway be very careful and its best to follow all precautions - btw I'm still here with no ill effects. Hello, did you happen to use the code converter to get a regular date for your MRE's or did they already have a regular date on them?
