Ian Webster created this interactive globe that shows the regression/progression of predicted Continental drift over the last 750 million years based on the models of paleogeographer Christopher Scotese. I find it fascinating. With it, you can enter the city you live in, or any city, or multiple cities, and then pick a time period to see where that location was in relation to the rest of the continents. It goes in roughly 20-30 million year increments from the present back 750 million years. It also gives a brief account of what is expected to have been occuring in evolution at that time. (Unfortunately my computer cant load this one . ) Then at night there was doco on early animal migrations into Australia from Sth America via Antarctica , with more drift images . I have a history of my area documented back to 150 mya (mostly undersea ) at one stage , part of Gondwana land when the area was close to the South Pole , but tropical !
