waterdrop Posted November 23, 2020 How to interpert Yi Jing results ? intersting to hear any advice about this topic For example : Do you ignore parts ? (for example i read about ignoring the hidden hexagram , or even ignoring both hidden and resultant hexgram , or ignoring all except the changing line ) What does the hidden hexagram point to ? what does the resultant hexagram point to ? what does the first hexagram point to ? what changing lines point to ? What weight do you give each part ? (are the lines more important - the resultant or hidden or original hexagram more important ? ) If there are more than one changing lines which ones you listen to ? all of them ? what if they are clashing in some way ? Sketch Posted November 23, 2020 (edited) We've only used the I Ching as an oracle during major life decisions - moves and career changes, for example. Then we've discussed the results for months. Sometimes the imagery from a particular consultation becomes part of how we discuss memories of the time passed. "Before the Dragon took off from that field" .
